COMMUNICATE WITH WATER
1. Think of water as someone you love. Let your emotions feel this love as you focus on this phrase: "My open-heart awaits your message."
2. Breathe in the essence of water, and breathe out this thought: "I want to know you and all of life you support
3. Slow your heart rate, and relax
4. Scan your body and release any tension, especially in the jaws, which frame the gateway to the transcendent passage (the throat chakra)
5. Invite the messages to enter your mind by saying: "I am open to the possibility that I can be eco-fearless and know you like my ancestors did. Your wildness doesn't frighten me."
6. Staying relaxed, engage in fluid motion as desired. (You may feel like "flowing" as you entrain to the consciousness of water)
7. Keep an open mind and trust what you hear. Be aware -- this gateway opens for the greatest good of all. Share the wisdom with others and use it for your personal greatest good.

Trust what you hear
It is the end of an amazing summer in the northern hemisphere, and the air is growing cool and crisp at night. Leaves are beginning to fall; and yet there is still lush vegetation all around. Water has done its part in keeping the Earth green throughout the hot, dry days of summer; though it has forced the trees to seek deeper into the earth to quench their thirst. How great it would be if our own thirst for wisdom reminded us to go deeper into the earth when we need something to support us. If we were able to patiently reach below the surface, we would find that answers are always waiting and we wouldn't need to fear our unknowing.
Our ancestors had the ability to use Earth / Water wisdom to help solve human dilemmas. In fact, our ancestors were so entrained to natural energies that they religiously used the elements, animals, plants, sound, and light as the source for healing and personal expansion. Imagine how it would be, if, instead of suffering, we were able to have meaningful conversations with birds, trees, earth, animals or water. We may be astounded to learn how deeply we are connected to the pulse of life on the planet if we stopped, from time-to-time, and had a good heart-to-heart with our natural relations.
Water reaches out to us in many ways, always trying to communicate. The messages are subtle, but very present. Masaru Emoto knew this -- how water communicates and influences molecules to transform -- but needed to present scientific-type experiments so the rest of the world would value his knowledge. There are still many scientists who don't believe water communicates, or changes molecules, or heals us even after Emoto presented his body of work; but his powerful messages got through to some of us. We, who understand about the subtle energies present in all living things, truly are the light-bearers who arrived on Earth with our ears open. Many others are developing the skill: while still others will probably never understand or believe there is such a potential for energy communication. For those of us who can hear the messages, we bear a particular responsibility in sharing them. That is the real message -- simply, to share what we hear for the love of it.
When did you last converse with earth elements? I am especially fond of talking and listening to water, so I use this noble substance as my "element of choice" when I seek answers and wisdom. This morning, the creek flowing next to my house woke me up. It had a strangely different sound and my consciousness was aroused. I stumbled out on the back deck before dawn, and sat listening to the messages of the water.
"We all need to talk to each other. And once we establish good communication, we need to speak together, as ONE collective voice in the world. If we cannot speak in the many languages of the mind, we must speak in the ONE language of the heart." I agreed with all of that. "What can I do, as a communicator and helper?" I asked my blessed friend. "Help everyone listen and remind people how to communicate with the earth and water so they can make wise choices for all of us and share with those who need this wisdom."
I heard no more. I sat for another half hour, waiting. I was cold and the sun was still not high enough to warm me, so I headed for the kitchen to make tea. As I reached for the teapot to fill it from a jug, I heard, "Shake me up first before you pour. This is how we begin." So I did. This was no small feat since I use bottled water from glass jugs, and they are heavy. Nonetheless, I did shake the bottle as best I could, and poured the water into my teapot and then sloshed it around in the pot. The simple act of agitating water activates molecules to dance around and come alive. I knew this from Emoto's work and earlier, Victor Schauberger's work (the Water Wizard), but I had forgotten. Living water must be moving. "Start from there." I heard this last piece as I lit the stove. I guessed this meant that when I drink living water, my neural pathways will remain open, and that keeps my subtle abilities functional so I can hear. If I drink water that has lost its vitality, it cannot benefit me at all in body, mind, or spirit. Yes, this was a good start, I agree.
I will continue to offer you my conversations with water, as I always have, but from a different perspective at times, as I am advised. I am a flute, and I pass along the melodies as they are breathed through me. This is my light work. I listen and share. Beyond that, I guess it is up to US to take action and use the messages in our lives for the enrichment of the Earth, ourselves and each other . . . can we do it? Can we be the unified voice of the Earth for all of life? Can we each listen to the messages trying to come through water, animals, trees, and soil? They aren't always about blessing ourselves and our own personal needs for strength, money, lovers, empowerment, motivation, or encouragement. There are other messages trying to get through to us about saving the whole web of life, collectively, unselfishly, and in unity. When the web grows stronger, we will all grow stronger, healthier, and happier.
I took my tea outside with a blanket and sat for another hour, listening to the birdsongs grow louder, and watching the morning sky light up. The creek seemed to slip quietly by with no dominant messages, but I realized something very important. Our ears are capable of hearing a billion sounds, and the consciousness of life will get our attention through whatever life-force we are most inclined to hear at any given moment. This means, we must be receptive. If we are, we become awakened gently without ever having to read a self-help book, take a workshop, cry a river of tears, or sit, depressed and confused, wondering why our lives don't work. Really, if we listen to the messages our natural brothers and sisters are telling us, we will heal, wake up, and walk a different path without doubts and fears or profound confusion.
I listen deeply to water and you might listen deeply to trees. Sharing what we hear with our brothers and sisters, our powerful buzz can change the world as it enhances personal wellbeing. I guess I would call that a deep awakening.

Several months ago I wrote about jumping into life and making things happen in spite of the economy and fear. Well, I took it to heart, myself, and got motivated. All these changes are the result of a brilliant shot of white light! I asked for it, and I got it! Truly, it feels wonderful to be moving energy in good ways. I highly recommend it.
