During the spring time, there is a lot of excitement around detoxification and cleansing. This spring, you may want to try a mild and gentle form of spring cleanse. It may look something like this:
- Drink a quart of warm lemon water upon rising
- Cut back on coffee and caffeine in general
- Reduce consumption of sugar, refined carbohydrates, dairy and wheat
- Eat 8 cups of fresh vegetables a day, raw and cooked varieties
- Focus on vegetables like kale, cabbage, broccoli and mustard greens
- Harvest young dandelion greens and add them to salads and stir-fries
- Try to eat mostly fresh and unprocessed foods that are close to their natural state

Gisela's Corner
Transforming a tragedy From Japan we are getting amazing stories about people who are transforming the triple tragedy of the quake, the tsunami and the nuclear radiation by transforming their reaction to the tragedies. People are asking strangers if they need food; they are leaving their doors open and welcoming people who need help; they find food and water on their doorsteps left by strangers. There are few signs of fear and panic. It is an acceptance and love that transforms all of humanity. Let us help out by sending them prayers of love several times during each day. |
