The course is built around nine small ongoing supervision groups happening more or less monthly in Central London on a Friday evening (6pm-9pm). The groups will offer indepth training supervision facilitated by two of our experienced clinical associates: Cloud Taylor and Damian McCann. These groups will include presenting clinical work as well as in depth personal and professional development.
There will also be attendance at training days scheduled to occur the following day. If you've previously attended the specific workshop we can exempt you for your prior learning, if not, then you'll be attending our series of four day Essentials in Sexual Minority Therapy; the Development of the Self & the Function of the Therapeutic Relationship, a two-day (all weekend) Introduction to Psychosexual Therapy; a day workshop on Self-Esteem Injury and Social Context and one elective day of your choice from our current programme. You will also submit one essay, and present a seminar to your peers and course staff on diversity issues. As the course is open to qualified practitioners only. We welcome therapists from a range of theoretical orientations. Course staff come from systemic, relational and attachment based psychoanalytic, psychosynthesis, person-centred and integrative models.
