September 2005 Pink Therapy Newsletter
Keeping YOU in the Frame
Greetings!
Hello again! We hope you had a good summer break?

This is a slightly quieter month, mostly because we've not been sent much external material to tell you about. Which means we can give you a bit more news about some of our forthcoming workshops!

This is our first time at offering workshops to lesbians and gay men who want to explore their relationships. Please let your clients know about them, if you feel they may be interested to attend. Thanks!

If you have a workshop, discussion topic, seminar, poster presentation you would like to present at the conference on Saturday 17 June, the closing date for open submissions is 30 September 2005, so please get your submission in to us as soon as possible.

Creating Sacred Spaces
Leah Davidson & Cloud Taylor   a workshop for lesbians wishing to explore their relationships Leah
Cloud Taylor and I have amended our weekend workshop on the joys and challenges of committed relationships with partners, friends and lovers to a more manageable one day. The workshop will take place in London on Saturday 5th November (1pm - 7pm), but the closing date is the end of this month (30 Sept). You are welcome to come on your own or with women you are in relationship with.

We envisage a participant led weekend focussing on your agendas, and looking at intimacy, commitment, desire, sex, dreams and passion in relationships. This experiential workshop will be creative with use of visualisations and art work, small and large group processing. We hope to create a sacred, intimate and safe space where women feel able to share their dreams and visions.

With this Ring
Dominic Davies & Charles Neal   a workshop for gay men exploring relationships Wedding Rings
We are interested in what 'commitment' means and and how it is lived out in our loving relationships. How do we manage personal and interpersonal growth in our committed relationships, developing ourselves at the same time as remaining committed? We'll look at the meanings we give to sex, intimacy, honesty, power and control, in being 'with' another person over time, and at what is shared and what withheld.

The workshop will be in London on Saturday 26th November 1pm - 7pm.

THANKS!
to those renewing their Directory of Pink Therapists membership PT Logo Trans
Many Thanks to those of you who renewed your membership of the Directory of Pink Therapists for another year. Our intention is to keep the Directory as current as possible and we have a process of annual renewal of membership every July.

We delete those profiles where therapists decide not to renew, in order not to waste the time of clients currently looking for a therapist and to maximise the advertising opportunity of those who do renew!
