J'La Chic Productions will bring "A Winter Wonderland" to Berkeley's
beautifully historic Claremont Resort & Spa to celebrate the New Year. The
black-tie affair will not only provide myriad of excitement, amusement and
musical entertainment in eight different theme rooms, but its "Las Vegas
by the Bay" simulated casino gaming room will be the source of fundraising
for
VESTIA, a
non-profit organization that
provides services and goods to low-income and underprivileged families
with children, foster children, and adults when assistance is not
available from other sources.

HIGHLIGHTED PERSONALITIES:
Cynthia Glinka and KRON 4's Jan Wahl will be the champagne reception
and dinner show special guest co-hosts. "Speedy" -- from the Jamie
Foxx Tour, BET Comic View, and HBO Def Comedy Jam --
will headline "The Comedy Corner." The Swing Fever Sextet will
provide 1930's and 40's big band sounds. Crooners "Purextasy" will
perform reminiscent soul and R&B oldies tunes, backed the
sensational Kickback Party Band. Saxaphonist Sonya Jason will be backed by fiery concert-orienated national musicians. |

The holiday celebration will include a wide variety of non-stop
entertainment options. The evening's festivities will begin with a
smooth jazz champagne reception followed by "A
Touch of Vegas" -- a captivating, interactive cabaret-style dinner
show. After the musical production, eight separate rooms will invite
patrons to enjoy casino games, vocalists performing old school funk,
classic soul and R&B; hilarious stand-up comedic entertainment;
Sizzling salsa, meringue, and cha-cha-cha;
Swing dancing to the sounds of a big band; a laid back mix 'n mingle for
singles; and much more. Choose just one or enjoy them all throughout
the evening!
Last
New Year's Eve, this event drew more than 600 attendees. Early
