1."Holiday Magic" Concert to Benefit The Charity Guild - Friday, December 3rd Christmas carols will mix with doo-wop and rock of the 50's and 60's at the "Holiday Magic" concert to benefit The Charity Guild's food pantry in Brockton. The vocalists will be Nancy Battaglia Gustafson, Lia Macrina and Lisa Villani, accompanied by Alice Carey. Special guest artist will be Fran Botelho-Hoeg, a singer who won the POP Search nationwide competition of the Boston Pops in 2005. The event will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. and the performance at 8 p.m. at Thorny Lea Golf Club,150 Torrey Street, Brockton. Tickets are $50. Holiday Jazz Concert - Sunday, December 6th Enjoy a holiday concert with the Sharon Concert Band and the Roy Scott Big Band featuring a special guest jazz vocalist and recording artist Amanda Carr, hailed as "a true jazz singer in a time of wannabes" by the Wall Street Journal. Annual Christmas Parade, Stoughton - Saturday, December 11th The Stoughton Community Events Committee invites you to attend the Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday December 11th.The parade will start at 2:00 pm at Stoughton High School, turn left onto Pearl Street, turn right onto Central Street, turn right onto Washington Street, bear left onto Park Street, and end at Walnut Street. There will be bleachers set up in Stoughton center for a reviewing stand. After the Parade, come to the Stoughton High School cafeteria to meet Santa Claus and get a free picture with him courtesy of Walgreen's.
