Wednesday, December 9: Children's Museum in Easton Family Picture Day. Photographer Rich Hudson of Hudson Photography will be at the Museum from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Reservations for sitting times must be made in advance, and the cost is $10. Hudson has agreed to donate all sitting fees to the Museum. Children or family groups of up to 12 people can be accommodated. You will be able to choose from a number of different photo combinations for purchase, starting at $25. Thursday, December 10: The Massachusetts Conference for Women at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Register online at maconferenceforwomen.org. The day will include keynote speakers including Suze Orman, Marcus Buckingham, Ruth Simmons and Tory Johnson, the ReWork Career Fair, mentoring, resume critiquing and hundreds of exhibits. Friday, December 11: Donate a gift for homeless children through Holiday Hope for the Homeless. Please take a minute to search the site. On the children's list page you will find the information for this year's children. If you are interested in "being an elf" for a child please e-mail us (corinne.nagle@gmail.com) the name of the child and I will send you a few items on their list. All items are under $40. Each child will need two elves to help fulfill their lists. Gifts should be new and unwrapped and are due before Friday, December 11th.

Friday, December 11: Donate promotional items for the BAARC Christmas Party. We need 150 of each item and would be glad to pick them up. We are looking for for pens, pencils, pads of paper, etc. to fill the goodie bags. Goodie bags will be donated to those with disabilities. Saturday, December 12: The Irish Cultural Centre's $30,000 Annual Drawing in combination with the Annual Christmas Open House. In addition, ten $1,000 prizes will be awarded and four $500 prizes. You may drop off gifts on Monday, Dec. 14th & Tuesday, Dec.15th at 252 Main Street, Brockton. Join us Wednesday, Dec. 16th forWrap'n'Tini's.Get together with a friend to help wrap the donated gifts for the needy children while sipping Holiday Martini's. All Gifts will be donated to a local Charity for Children for the Holiday.

December 19 and 20: Contrapose Dance presents A Christmas Toy Story, The charming fable of elves, broken toys, a great gust of wind, and the resourcefulness of friends at Bridgewater State College Auditorium at the Rondileau Campus Center. December 19: 5:30 pm show. December 20: 3:00 pm show. This hour-length show combines performances by seven Contrapose dancers and 30 students, aged 9 to 17. the show will delight the whole family with its upbeat dancing and message about the power of working together. $12 for adults $8 for children (aged 12 and under). Massasoit Community College Holiday Greetings

    Massasoit Community College invites members of the community to send a special holiday greeting to loved ones serving in the armed forces through their own, personal radio show. Your show can include favorite songs, special messages, and conversation from family and friends while you are apart during the holidays. This is a free service in support of those serving our country in the Armed Forces.
    The shows will be broadcast from December 11th through January 15th via the Massasoit Radio Club's internet radio station, Massasoit onDemand, and on iTunes�. Visit www.massasoit.mass.edu for more information.
