When Joshua was commissioned to go and conquer the land that had been promised to them by God he must have felt overwhelmed by the enormity of the task. Looking at the towering walls of Jericho he was surprised by a man with a drawn sword standing near the walls.  With warrior-bravery he demanded:  "Who are you?  Are you friend or foe?"
 
"Neither. I am the commander of the Lord's army."He was on location and on duty. He had been commissioned more than 40 years earlier.
 
"And the Lord said unto Moses....I will send an angel before thee..."  (Exodus 33:2)
     
God keeps His word. Before Joshua ever arrived on the scene this man/angel/commander was there and ready for battle for the conquest of the land God had promised His people.

Joshua was in unfamiliar territory facing a situation he had never faced before (he had never seen a walled city) and had no plan as to what to do. But God pre-plans!!
 
You may be in unfamiliar territory, facing a situation you have never faced before but God has already been where you are and He has pre-planned for you.  He keeps His word.

He will never leave you.
He will never forsake you.
His angels encamp around you to deliver you.
His angels are ministering spirits sent to minister to you.
He will supply all your needs.
He is able to do abundantly above all you can ask.
He works all things together for your good.
He has good plans, not evil for you.

When Joshua got to his crisis, God was already there.

In these times of crisis of every kind--and some we never thought we would face-- He has pre-planned for your good. Your present and future dilemma is history to the Lord. He is already there.
