My Dad went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2007 at 6:20 PM I was with him as he departed this earth. This will be 1 year 1 month and 1 day since the passing of my mother, She passed October 14, 2006, He passed Nov. 15, 2007.
Some have ask me about the strength that I am feeling at this time. Well of course it is the Lord and HE got me prepared for this last year, I begin to trust God and seek to help my dad with my mothers departing. Of course he had his own grieving and the nurses in the hospital said he was still grieving. His health went down rapidly within one week, up until that time he was in good shape. His age was 80.
I cannot express enough the power in listening to God and preparation. I am not trying to say do not mourn everyone is different, it's just better when you know ahead of how to stable yourself in the Lord at least be a little better in trying times. We all can deal with situations better when we've heard from God and prepare mentally and spiritually.
We are in the season for making preparation about many things keep that in mind.
I have a half sister her name is Sharon Davis please keep her in your prayers, she is doing well but I just want added support for her and my nephew Elijah he's 10 and was very close to my dad.
