Celebration a success!
A new look                                        After beginning a "rebranding" process in the fall, we were proud to publicly launch a new brand image at the end of January in honor of Manco Abbott's 40th Anniversary. The new look represents our continued commitment to be innovative, incorporating a fresh approach as we move into the future.

Apartment market delivering strong rent growth
By Multifamilybiz.com
DALLAS, TX - In its latest research, Axiometrics Inc., a provider of data and advisory services on the apartment market, reports that sequential rent growth in February 2012 was the highest it has been since June 2011, with effective rent (rent net of concessions) increasing by 0.66% from January to February. New D.C. green mandate could have national impact

By Jane M. Wolkowicz

Multifamily and commercial buildings in Washington, D.C., may soon be going green. A proposal from the D.C. Office of Planning issues new regulations for multifamily and commercial buildings city-wide, varying by zone. Each zone would need to dedicate a certain proportion of space to landscaping or permeable surfaces in an attempt to promote sustainability. The plan is modeled after European cities including Berlin and Malmö, Sweden. Seattle has its own "Green Factor" program already in place.
