Spring Confirmation
Save the Date!

The Rite of Confirmation will be celebrated here on May 27,  the Feast of Pentecost.  We are honored to welcome the Rt. Rev. Herbert H. Donovan, who will preach and preside at the liturgy.  Bishop Donovan is the Deputy to the Presiding Bishop for Anglican Communion Relations. He has served the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion in various capacities, including: Interim Anglican Observer to the United Nations, Executive Director of the Compass Rose Society of the Anglican Communion, Assisting Bishop of the diocese of New Jersey, Provisional Bishop of the Diocese of Chicago.

Please pray for our confirmands in the coming months, as they prepare to confirm the vows made for them in baptism, and make a mature, public affirmation of their faith.

Those who desire to be confirmed as adults or received into the Episcopal Church are invited to contact Mother Susan for more information.

2012 Every Member Canvass Campaign -
Almost There...

This year's EMC campaign has made significant progress towards the goal of at least $350,000 in pledges.  As of January 19th we have received 109 pledges for a total of $335,322.  We are encouraged to see 35 families increasing their pledge, 49 families maintaining their 2011 levels, and 10 pledges from new or returning members.   The Vestry will meet in the next few weeks to finalize the 2012 budget for presentation at the annual meeting at the end of January, so we have an urgent goal to wrap up the 2012 campaign in the next two weeks.  To those who have already pledged, we graciously thank you for your support.  For those who have not yet pledged, please let us know your intentions as soon as possible.

As an added incentive to achieve our goal, we have a member of the parish who will match pledges made as of January 1st.  The match is also valid for those who would like to increase their pledge.  If you need a pledge card or wish to increase your pledge, please contact the Parish Office.  Pledge Cards can be found in the narthex or  click here to download a copy.  You can also call the office at 908-766-2282 to have one mailed to you.
