Click Here to Provide Financial Assistance to Japan

Episcopal Relief & Development is sending support to the Nippon Sei Ko Kei (NSKK; the Anglican Communion in Japan) to help with its initial emergency relief efforts in response to the earthquake and resulting tsunami. Donations to Episcopal Relief & Development's Japan Earthquake Response Fund will provide vital support to the NSKK for their immediate work in assessing and responding to the disaster.  In Tohoku, the Church is planning to establish an emergency relief center at the diocesan building, and leadership at the Provincial level is developing a response structure to organize and support a network of volunteers to carry out the relief and restoration work.

This Sunday we welcome the Rev. Peter French as our Guest Celebrant & Preacher

Since 2008 The Reverend Peter French has served as Chaplain of the Episcopal Church at Princeton University, the oldest and largest campus ministry in the Episcopal Church. Ordained in the Anglican Church of Australia in 1999, Peter has served the church in rural Australian parishes, Chicago city churches, in hospital chaplaincy and for over half his career in university chaplaincy, both in the USA and in Australia, where he was Chaplain at Trinity College, The University of Melbourne. Peter received his Bachelor of Theology degree from The United Faculty of Theology, Melbourne, his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Melbourne, and is currently completing a PhD in Art History from this same University, concentrating upon the work of renowned Australian glass artist David Wright. Peter is married to The Revd Robyn Whitaker, an ordained minister of The Uniting Church of Australia currently completing her PhD in New Testament from The University of Chicago.

Search & Discernment News

Your Search and Discernment Committee met on March 16 to continue the work of considering and selecting candidates for recommendation for calling of our new Rector.  The team, meeting with Bob Bostock, our Diocesan Transition Consultant, reviewed detailed information submissions by interested

candidates to determine qualifications and fit with our criteria.  The work is on schedule with the timeline and plan for a recommendation to the Vestry and a calling in June.  Next steps will involve telephone interviews with active candidates to discern the fit based on experience, traits and attributes described in our Parish Profile.   Stay tuned for more updates regarding our progress.

Parish Directories

If you would like a print out of the Parish Directory, please stop by the Parish House. The listing is updated frequently. Copies of the current Directory are on a clipboard posted on the bulletin board which is located in the hallway outside the Parish Office. Please help yourself. If your contact information has changed, please let the office know. Thank you!
