Workshop "Living Into the Millennium Development Goals"
Convocation of the Diocese of New Jersey is hosting an interactive workshop entitled "Living Into the Millennium Development Goals" on Saturday, Feb 19 from 9am until noon. We invite you to join us to learn about the MDGs and to explore ways to support this global initiative to fulfill Jesus' call to care for the most vulnerable. Six week series on "Paul's Thought and Later Developments of 'The Pauline School'"
Begins on March 6, 2011 at 3 pm at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Basking Ridge. They will host Dr. William Stroker, Professor Emeritus of Religion from Drew University. Dr. Stroker received his PhD. from Yale University in 1970 and subsequently studied the Coptic scriptures in Egypt and writing in the library of Strasburg, France. Stroker was the Chair of Department of Religion at Drew and continues to teach at the Madison Library. A suggested fee of $35 for the series is recommended. Please reserve a seat by contacting the office of St. Mark's at 908-766-0510, 140 So. Finley Ave. All are welcomed to attend and participate, but seats are limited. Topics included within the six week series are: Introduction to Paul's Life and Letters, Basic Pauline Theology, Judaism and "Christianity" according to Paul Pauline Ethics, Problems in Pauline Churches, Letters attributed to Paul, reflecting later times and developments, and the Roles of the Laity. Somerville Food Bank Staffing Opportunities

Adopt-a-Family for Easter
