Summer is upon us... and it's always a challenging time for us here in the "Old Pueblo", aka Tucson. Once you hit 100 degrees, which indeed happened during this past week... it's just HOT!
This is the first summer since we opened in 1998 that we'll be handling our summer hours by appointment. I will be available via email and phone for all your bear hugging needs. (see contact info below) And our online store, of course, never closes!
Our exciting news of the month is that we will be introducing our first-ever store-exclusive artist creation next week. We're just waiting on the finishing touches... the most important part! The picture above is a sneak(y) preview... just enough to give you a HINT of what's to come. Can you guess??
Two other launches will be taking place in June as well, the fall Steiff line will be introduced along with the fall 2011 Charlie Bears launch! Both of these wonderful manufacturers are offering some amazing pieces and we can't wait to "spill the beans", so to speak, and show them off. Stay tuned!
Are you feeling crafty? Mostly Bears has a few items you might like to play with! We now carry many Clover notions, including fun Pom Pom makers, felting needles and supplies, at least 10 styles of 100% cotton "bear themed" fabric and some other goodies you might not expect to see at a bear shop! (Bias tape makers, seam rippers, cutwork scissors just to name a few.)
