The Wellness Center has switched from Comcast to DirecTV. Due to the nature of our facility, DirecTV can only broadcast 16 channels. We have selected eight channels that we already know are popular with our members, but we want to get your input on what you really enjoy watching while exercising.
A recent study of the health in our community (Fauquier and Rappahannock counties) confirmed that cardiac disease is the leading cause of death, second only to cancer. It is also a leading cause of hospitalizations. This is distressing because cardiac diesease risks can be significantly lowered through simple lifesyle changes. If you are at risk for cardiac disease, don't wait until your heart fails to talk with your doctor. Prevention should be your goal.
