Greetings,
September is here, kids are back in school and autumn is just around the corner. Fall is a time of change, warm days and cool evenings, leaves beginning to change colors and the days begin getting shorter and shorter.
While driving on a busy local road, I noticed several different gas stations advertising that if I use their gas it will clean my intake valves, and keep them clean. I did not give it a lot of thought because I know they are all trying to persuade me to buy their gas.
I know there is a difference between the generic brands and top-tier brands. Different amounts of additives and cleaners are used to improve combustion and keep your engine running better. If the top-tier brand cost $3.65 gallon and the generic brand is $3.49, which one would you choose? Like most people today, if I can't tell the difference why should I pay more?
Sometimes determining the best value is easy, you can look at something and see it looks poorly made and choose the better made product. But how do you decide if it is not as visible? How can you tell that the service you are paying for is done right? That is not as easy, sometimes it is not apparent until after you have paid your money and left.
Here at Action, we are committed to offering our customers more value for their money, everyday. We use only high quality parts, installed by our professional, certified technicians. Come in today and let us show you why Action is the best choice for all of your automotive needs.

| Disposable Cars... |
Is your vehicle disposable?
Today's consumer purchases many "disposable" products: digital cameras, cell phones, most computers, flat-screen televisions, and the majority of household appliances. When, for example, was the last time that you had a toaster repaired? If it stops working, we just toss it out and buy a shiny new one. Do you feel that your vehicle is disposable too? We don't!
Purchasing any vehicle, new or used, is an investment. Your car requires routine maintenance to keep it reliable, so that it can continue running safely and economically. In today's economy, most people can't afford to buy a new car every year, so it makes sense to maintain the one you have. Today's vehicles are more reliable than ever, and most cars on the road can run for 200,000 miles or more, but your vehicle still needs regular checks to ensure that it functions at its best. Be sure to follow your manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedules.
If your vehicle goes too long without service, you increase the chance of sludge building up in the engine; of coolant corrosion inhibitors depleting and damaging the radiator and water pump; and of lubricants breaking down and causing expensive damage. Do you remember the last time you took your vehicle for a scheduled service? If not, you may be due for one.
Caring for your current vehicle is less expensive than making a new car payment. Action wants to help you stay on the road, trouble free. Click here to make and appointment today.

| Choosing the Right Tire |
The Importance of Tires
Most people don't realize that your tires are the single most important safety item on your vehicle. Tires are the only thing between you and the road. Tires impact everything, whether it's braking, accelerating, turning a corner or driving on wet, or slippery pavement. A quality set of tires will offer the responsiveness necessary for obstacle avoidance, reduce stopping distance when making a panic stop, and a road hugging grip under wet or dry pavements.
What Should I Look For?
Tire shopping can be daunting task, especially with all the technological advances and increased specialized tire genres in the market. The starting point is to confirm that the tire size, speed rating and load capacity meet, or exceed, all of the same specifications of the original tires. All of this information is located on a placard in the drivers door jam. The next step is decide what features are most important to you, tread-life, performance and handling, run-flat tires, all-season tires, or price. You can start to see how buying new tires can be confusing.
Action Is Here To Help
