Gas prices are going up again!
Older vehicles used to require a tune-up every 30,000 miles. Because of new engine designs and computerized controls, most of todays vehicles won't require replacing the spark plugs until 100,000 miles. But, that doesn't mean you can neglect your engine for 100,000 miles. As your engine operates it burns fuel, the combustion process causes carbon to build up, this carbon build up robs your engine of power and performance. Accidents Happen
According to the National Safety Council, one in every eight drivers will be involved in a motor vehicle accident this year. That may mean you! Are you prepared? Would you know what to do and what questions to ask? An accident is such a jolt to your system, with so much going on, here are some things to keep in mind.
- Stop your vehicle, if it is clear move out of the roadway.
- Stay as calm as possible, breathe deeply.
- Check for injuries, yourself and everyone else involved.
- Call the police, if injuries are involved call 911.
- If the accident is minor, you may not have to call the police, but it is recommended.
- Exchange insurance, drivers license information and phone numbers.
- Notify your insurance company immediately.
