"Holiday time is family time,' said Colonel David Sankey, superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.  "Through this initiative, the Nebraska State Patrol family is promoting safe travel by reminding your family of the need to follow the rules of the road."

NCPD Patch

Nebraska City Police Department received a $2,500 Nebraska "You Drink & Drive, You Lose" Enforcement Grant from the Office of Highway Safety for the month of December. Congratulations to NCECBVI in Nebraska City for being featured in a video at NElovesPS.org.

Today's public schools and educators face increased pressure stemming from negative perceptions and the demand to do more with less.  Public schools offer a lot to be proud of, and we've been working hard to tell their stories - your stories - about the amazing programs and people making a difference across the state.

But we need your help to spread the word!

  • Visit us online at www.NElovesPS.org and click 'participate' to tell us why you're proud of your school
  • Like us on Facebook at facebook.com/nelovesps
  • Follow us on Twitter@nelovesps

Please encourage your friends and fellow parents to do the same.

Thanks for all you do-involved parents and just one of the reasons why Nebraska Loves Public Schools!
