Seat Check Saturday
Parents and caregivers are urged to have their children's car seats checked on National Seat Check Saturday, September 24. As part of Child Passenger Safety Week (September 18-24), certified child passenger safety technicians will be available to inspect car seats and provide hands-on advice free of charge.
Have you heard about LATCH?
Every year, thousands of young children are killed or injured in crashes, mainly because 3 out of every 4 children in child safety seats are not properly secured, or even worse, not restrained at all. Don't let that happen to your child. Nearly every car seat and most vehicles manufactured since September 1, 2002, are required to have the LATCH system. LATCH makes it easier to get the child seat in right - the first time and every time. Find out how to properly use the LATCH system. Check the laws in your state.
