CONGRATULATIONS TO SKIP AND MONICA WELSH Each year in July, TeamMates Chapters from across Nebraska and Iowa meet for a day of learning and celebrating at the Annual Partnership Meeting. A highlight of the day is when Dr. Tom and Nancy Osborne recognize award winners from each region. This year Nebraska City will be among those recognized. Skip and Monica Welsh of The Golf Course at Table Creek will be recognized as TeamMates Champions. Skip and Monica and the entire team at Table Creek have been great partners for our local TeamMates Chapter. Each year they work hard to make sure our TeamMates Golf Tournament is a success. This event provides significant funding for our local chapter. The Nebraska City chapter is grateful for the support Skip and Monica have shown personally and through their businesses; Table Creek and Appearances. They will be receiving their award on Tuesday, July 26 at a noon luncheon. The event will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Lincoln. |

Summer also represents the 100 deadliest days for teenage drivers. In 2009, approximately 3,000 teens in the United States aged 15-19 were killed and more than 350,000 were treated in emergency departments for injuries suffered in motor-vehicle crashes. Learn more here.
