GROWING GREAT KIDS
Growing Great Kids
Have you heard about the great things offered  by Growing Great Kids in Southeast Nebraska?

Growing Great Kids is a voluntary home visitation program for new and expectant parents. Families begin by meeting with a Growing Great Kids Parent Visitor who will discuss any questions or concerns about pregnancy or a baby's first years. Based on the discussion, all families will receive information and learn about resources available in the community for new parents and all families can receive an in home visit from an Registered Nurse after the birth of their baby. Some families will also receive further support through home visitation.  During the RN visit the nurse will offer assessment and advice for mom & baby, as well as discuss ways to care for, feed and bathe your baby.  The nurse is also a certified breastfeeding instructor and car seat technician so she is able to provide expert advice in those areas as well!  If the family receives home visitations they will receive a weekly visit in their home to discuss baby care and development as well as parenting topics.  The best news is all these services are FREE to families!

Growing Great Kids was initiated through Partners for Otoe County and is  made possible through a Catholic Health Initiatives Grant and the support of the Southeast District Health Department.  Call 274-3993 or (877)  777-0424 for more information.
