We got a Christmas card this week from the mother of one of our students. She wrote:

"Dearest staff,  

The Hatlen Center is the best thing that has happened to Jean over the years. She is learning to be so independent and sure of herself. We are very proud of all of you for the great influence and knowledge that you have given to Jean! Thank you for the wonderful help and love that you provide for our daughter! Happy Holidays and God Bless."

That is the kind of feedback that makes all of us proud and grateful to be working at The Hatlen Center for the Blind. We are also grateful to the Department of Rehabilitation and the wonderful family of donors who loyally support us year after year. As you think about your end-of-year giving, we hope that you will continue to remember The Hatlen Center and our students who, with your help, graduate from our program with the skills and confidence that allow them to achieve their dream of independence.
