Mrs. Ketterman

The Ketterman Family is mourning the death of one of the Founders of Ketterman's Jewelers, Neysa Ketterman, Dan's mother. Mrs. Ketterman met Mr. Ketterman while in the hospital fighting TB. She partnered with him in life and business to birth two children and a jewelry store. She has touched thousands of lives and will be greatly missed. We will remember her commitment to caring for her family and teaching others the value of reputation and service.
Personally, I realize that I have a hard act to follow. As I listened to her friends and family remember her, I was struck by the awesome responsibility that the name" Mrs. Ketterman" holds. I am humbled by the task. I pray that I will be able to uphold the ideals which made Mrs. Ketterman so well loved. I ask your patience with me as I try to grow into the symbol that she represented. I look to others to guide me and hold me accountable to the ideals set forth by her and I can only hope that when all is said and done in my life, that I will be remembered with such fondness.
To those of you who have upheld us during this time, Thank you. To those who knew Mrs. Ketterman, we join you in a great loss. For those of you who never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Ketterman, I'm sorry that you missed the opportunity.
I thank you, Mrs. Ketterman, for the wonderful son that you allowed to marry me. I thank you, Mrs. Ketterman, for the business that you shared with us. I thank you, Mrs. Ketterman, for the legacy that you leave in my charge.
In fond rememberance, from one Mrs. Ketterman to another.
