Welcome to 2012
It's hard to believe it's almost February, and that this is our tenth edition of the Ketterman's All-Ways Newsletter. For those of you who haven't been with us from the beginning, Ketterman's All-Ways is an opportunity for us to let you know what's going on in and out of the store. We are a family business and feel that our customers are an extension of that family. So consider these monthly mailers a quick check-in from your extended family at Ketterman's. We look forward to serving you, and getting to know you for many years to come.

Share the Love
Red heart shaped boxes are flooding the stores, dinner reservations are being made, and florists are preparing for their busiest day of the year...So, what are you thinking about? There seem to be two kinds of people in the world, those who have a "Valentine" and those who despise February 14. If you do have a Valentine, you'd better have a plan, if you're not a fan of this romantic holiday, you're not alone, and I invite you to join others in doing something about it.
This seemingly exclusive holiday with an unclear origin can, and should be, celebrated by everyone, regardless of their relationship status. If we could stop focusing so much on the romance and just remember the love, we could all enjoy Valentine's Day together. So whether you're spoken for or single, participate with us in sharing the love. Pick three people in your life and let them know they are loved. Give them hug, a gift, or just give them a call. The important thing is that they know.

Welcome Baby Shane
For those of you thinking, "there's something in the water," at Ketterman's - you've been watching as our extended family grows (literally). Jess and her husband, Steve, welcomed their baby boy at 1:30am on January 5. Shane Jeffrey was born at Reston Hospital Center weighing 8lbs 5oz. He is adorable (as you can see) and has already been behind the counter at Kettermans a few times - getting him started early. Congrats to Steve and Jess!
 .
Stay tuned for more baby updates, we've got another new addition due in March. |
