TK, the World Traveler
Tammi's back from her whirlwind trip with Brighton! For those of you who know Mom, taking two 24-hour plane rides and being away from her family is not her ideal way to spend the week. She is happy to be back home, and feels very blessed to have been given this once in a lifetime opportunity.
"All alone" with about 130 other Brighton Store owners and company representatives, Tammi spent six days touring China. Part recreation, part education, Mom was treated to fine dining, exquisite accommodations, sightseeing and a tour of Brighton's jewelry, handbag, sunglass and watch factories. The group stayed in several different cities, Kowloon, Gunagzhou, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Taichung (Taiwan). We will be having a Tea Time with Tammi event on Tuesday, March 8th to share her experience. Our Brighton rep, Jennifer, will also be in to share and present an authentic Chinese tea.Stop by the store to see pictures and hear stories about the trip.
Brighton has a way of inspiring new ideas and creating excitement about their product. Mom promised, "you all are gonna be busy when I get home." So, stay tuned for new products and exciting upcoming events! |
  
Step(ping it up) into Spring
With the warm weather becoming more frequent, and wardrobe coverage decreasing, it's time to step up the accessories! New products are arriving daily from the Atlanta and New York shows, and we can't wait for you to see them! We found several new lines we think you'll enjoy, as well as new products from some of your old favorites.
Springtime is a natural season for new beginnings, and your look doesn't want to be left out. Accessories are a great way to renew a past-season's outfit. Adding a belt or new pair of shoes can refresh last year's look for new life in 2011. Use Jewelry to add pops of color and a little sparkle to your daily duds.
SPRING ESSENTIALS:
BANGLE BRACELETS- stack 'em up! It's about making a statement with these stackable staples for spring. Go bright, or go big, as long as you go.
SUNGLASSES- here comes the sun! (we hope) Oversized and cat's eye are the trends this season, as retro styles from the 50s and 60s are what's hot.
WEDGE SANDALS - show your toes! And add some height without adding discomfort. Ketterman's has several styles try (especially in hard to find sizes 5,6,11).
SKINNY BELTS- wasp your waist! A thin accent around your middle (at or just below the waist) will bring your look together in a cinch.
MARKET ALERT: Cotton prices are on the rise for 2011 and 2012, which means spring and summer fashions will be more of a burden on your budget. Instead of breaking the bank, take this opportunity to have a clothing exchange with your friends. It's a great way to re-vamp your wardrobe without wrecking your wallet. |
 At Home Bea had a BABY! Does that make Dan and Tammi Great Grandparents? Not quite. Bea ("Bee-Ha") is grandson Sam's miniature cow. She is absolutely adorable, and super tiny (about 50% the size of a "normal" calf. Sam has lovingly named her "Little Bea". Hattie is still working through her cancer battle.
