Welcome back! Just in case you missed us the first time, this is Ketterman's NEW Monthly Newsletter, "Ketterman's All Ways" to update you of the happenings at Ketterman's in Leesburg. The Ketterman's would like to thank those of you who joined us for Friends and Family Days to help us kick off the Christmas Season. We had great food (Dan Ketterman's "Famous in Philomont" Chili, Tammi Ketterman's Rum Cakes, Lizzy's Pineapple Bake- is your mouth watering yet?- and more), fun shopping,family photos, and Ketterman's PUPPIES! Santa was here Saturday too! Stop by throughout December as we continue in the festivities (and the food!).

Ketterman's Welcomes GALATEA

Artist Chi Galatea Huynh has changed laws and the face of the jewelry scene with this awe inspiring line. He has taken the classic beauty of a pearl to new heights, using new technoligies to enhance one of nature's most fascinating creations. When an oyster swallows a grain of sand, it eases the discomfort by coating the irritant in layers of nacre (pearl). Traditional cultured pearls begin with the implantation of a piece of shell into the oyster, the GALATEA pearl begins with a gemstone bead (torquoise pictured left) which is then hand carved to expose the bright gemstone center. The diamond in the center of the pearl represents the painful grain of sand that the oyster transforms, through much time and effort, into something beautiful. "It is this unique transformation that has given birth to Diamond in a Pearl, the symbol of love."

The DavinChi Cut
"Be a mirror, absorb everything around you and still remain the same." Chi Huynh embraces Leonardo's mirror philosophy in his "DavinChi Cut" collection. The center stone is set inverted with smaller gems beneath it. This allows the larger center stone to absorb and reflect the colors of the stones below, giving the piece a kaleidoscope effect. Each piece is engineering masterpiece with the mirrored background providing a second layer of reflection, adding life and vibrance from every angle.

| Ketterman's Charm Girls
Kettermans began the Charm Girl "program" in 2007 with their first group of "Brighton Charm Girls". During the Christmas Season Charm Girls work in the store to assist Ketterman's guests with their holiday shopping. This is an opportunity for young girls to spend time in the workplace learning valuable lessons in self-presentation, manners, service, and business. This year, the Charm Girl program was expanded to include Pandora and Kameleon. Ketterman's was honored to have over 40 applicants for the 2010 Charm Girl Class. Twenty-five girls, age 13-16 were selected for this Holiday Season and we look forward to working with them and having them as a part of the Ketterman's Team.
