Grand Opening Celebration!

July 16, 2010 was an exciting day for Sheldon Birch, his family and the pharmacy team at Birch Family Health Mart Pharmacy. This date represented the Grand Opening of their new store location in their hometown of Tooele, UT.  
 
Just under three years ago, Sheldon Birch began his venture as an independent pharmacy owner. You can understand why Sheldon incorporated the word family into his pharmacy business name. He and wife, Melinda, have strong family roots in their Tooele community and they also are managing a family
of five children. Austin, Hayden, Preston, Clarissa and Alayna are at
the center of this busy family and keep the energy fast paced.
 
Sheldon, with his progressive and aggressive business spirit, built a new free standing pharmacy complex which now supports 3800 square feet. This allowed the store to expand its product offerings and services. In addition, a doctor opened a private practice in their new business suite attached to the pharmacy. And of course, they listened to their customers who requested a drive-thru service at their new location.
 
"We want to thank IPC for all of their support and contributions to our grand opening", stated Sheldon. The Grand Opening featured a raffle drawing, food and refreshments, tote bag giveaway loaded with goodies, a blow-up fun house for the kids and a caricature artist to sketch customers while waiting for their prescriptions. The Chamber members stopped by to conduct an official ribbon cutting as well.
 
Mindy Herrmann, IPC Director of Partner Relations commented on the successful event, "It was wonderful to experience the strong community support for Sheldon and his family! His customers just love the Birch Family Health Mart Pharmacy team and its employees. Their patients appreciate the personal attention and would not think of going elsewhere for their prescription and consultation needs. The staff is an awesome group! IPC was proud to support and sponsor event components. The turnout was above expectations and the added bonus was a record day of sales for the pharmacy! Terrific!"
