THANK YOU!

From Your Exeuctive Director

Jan VanceGreetings from the Chamber office! March ushers in not only a new season... SPRING, but also a new season of planning and preparation for all the upcoming 2011 Chamber events. Some committees have already started meeting, such as, "A Taste of Edmonds", and the "Edmonds Classic Car Show"; other committeess have made plans to start meeting this month, like "An Edmonds Kind of Fourth", and the "Dave Stern Memorial Golf Classic"; and others will plan to meet as their event dates get closer. Whenever they start meeting, we know that the volunteers that choose to participate on these committees will give us 110%!

While our event committees take a few well-needed months off during the year after their event is over, other Chamber committees continue to meet monthly throughout the year to provide you with a host of Chamber benefits. These committees are also run by volunteers who are dedicated to making the Edmonds Chamber the best it can be! The Ambassadors are one such group of volunteers -- acting as the meet and greeters at Chamber events, hosting the weekly networking breakfast, and visiting old and new members to discuss Chamber benefits. The Ambassadors are not alone, there are several other volunteer committees that provide support to the Chamber. Our volunteers are essential to the success of the Edmonds Chamber and we truly appreciate the contributions they make! For a list of Chamber committees, please visit our website.

So, as we welcome Spring with open arms, we also welcome another season of wonderful events, great committee work, fabulous volunteers, and new opportunities to promote the Chamber's mission for our members, and the Edmonds Community. We'd love to welcome you as a new volunteer... if you're interested, please contact me!
