Business in the County Forum Luncheon will provide you the opportunity to hear from all 5 County Commissioners regarding the needs of the business community and direction of Clackamas County. This is one of Your Chamber's premier events and reservations must be made by September 20. The event will be held on September 26 at the Abernethy Center. Over the last few weeks, I have had the opportunity to get out and meet several Chamber members and learn about their businesses. I have been pleased to hear many positive reports. Despite national trends, many of your fellow Chamber member report that their businesses are doing well. They also report high satisfaction with the chamber and an interest in being more involved.
Remember that this really is YOUR chamber. We are here to help your business flourish. Please feel free to contact me with feedback (positive or negative) on current programs or new things you would like to see us doing for you.

New manager transferred to Milwaukie office
Express Employment Professionals has transferred Tina Irvine from their Salem office to take over as the Branch Manager at their Milwaukie office. Fall kick off benefits school
Eagle Landing Golf Course will be hosting a fall kick-off on Saturday, October 6th. Guests can play golf that day anytime from 8:00am - 7:00pm. There will be some vendors there to enjoy snacks and fun items. All proceeds benefit Columbia County Christian School. It's a great day for the community to have fun together at a huge discount - just $10 for par 3 golf.

Sculptures of Scott Foster featured in Alexander Gallery exhibit "Fragments, Trophies and Totems," an exhibition of steel sculptures by Scott Foster, opens Tuesday, September 18, in the Alexander Gallery at Clackamas Community College. The show continues through October 31. Full article
