Network at multi-chamber event in a community forest
Join members from the Oregon City and West Linn Chambers of Commerce at a Business After Hours on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Make business connections while you enjoy food, beverages, raffle prizes and fun at the completed Forest Hall at Hopkins Demonstration Forest, 16750 South Brockway Road in Oregon City. Forest tours will be available at 4:00pm as well as an optional bird walk at 7:00pm. While the event is free, RSVPs to 503.632.2150 will be greatly appreciated.

Come to the 'Cabaret,' opening August 4 in the Clackamas Repertory Theatre
Clackamas Repertory Theatre continues its eighth season with the Tony-award winning musical, "Cabaret," opening Saturday, August 4, in the Osterman Theatre. The show runs through August 26, with performances Thursdays through Sundays. Full article

Vote for local non-profit 
Advantis Credit Union has selected 12 projects that promise long term community benefits for potential funding from the Advantis GROW Community Fund. The public is invited to vote for the programs on the list at the Advantis website or Facebook page. Among the projects is one submitted by Clackamas Women's Services. Voting runs through Friday, July 13, 2012. Advantis will award $50,000 in grants of up to $10,000 each. Full article

The Secretary of State's Corporation Division is pleased to announce that the Business Xpress, Oregon's "one stop" business portal is now available at business.oregon.gov/ or oregon.gov/business. The goal of Business Xpress is to help businesses quickly find the information and services they need and complete tasks online without having to understand state agency jargon.

Heritage home tour
The Architectural Heritage Center is holding its third annual Heritage Home Tour, Then and Now, on Saturday, July 28th, 10:00am to 4:00pm. The event celebrates significant Portland architecture for the benefit of the Architectural Heritage Center's historic preservation education programs, heritage conservation advocacy efforts, and museum exhibits. Tickets are on sale online. The tour includes five exceptional homes representing the work of architects and builders from 1892 to 1962.
