President's Message
Susan Lehr, President/CEO
NCCCC Community Foundation
Over this past year, I have heard many people in our area believe the North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce is a part of the county, a county department. Is that because County is in our name? Could it be as a result of decades of promoting the greater community, business and tourism destinations which the public assumes is funded through public dollars? I don't quite know. Whatever the reason, it is important for the community to know that we are a private, non-profit business organization.

Travel agent specializes in small group adventure
Sandi Carter has recently become a travel agent with My Bucket List Adventures. In 1997 she went to Tanzania on safari and stayed doing volunteer work for 7 years. After she began working she realized that Africa still tugged at her heart and she began leading groups on safari, visiting wildlife on the vast plains of the Serengeti and descending into Ngoronogor Crater to see some of the few (26) endangered rhino. Loving the cultures of different countries, she expanded her groups to places like Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Turkey, the Greek Isles and Athens. As a travel agent she can arrange family vacations to Disneyland, destination weddings to Hawaii or, her favorite, small group (6-8) adventure travel. Currently she has a group going to Peru in September, one to Tanzania in November and one to France in May of 2013. All groups have space available. She would love to help you with any of your travel needs. She can be reached by email or at 503.253.8738.
