Chamber 101 is designed for new members as well as members who are looking to get more out of their chamber membership. The North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce is seeking your nominations for deserving businesses and business leaders who make an impact on our community.  Nomination forms are now available. Your Chamber has kicked off its Sweet Heart Package Travelling Raffle. This year's package, valued at more than $1200, includes a fabulous amethyst ring from LaRog Brothers, one night in a Jacuzzi suite at Oxford Suites, a three month Executive Family Membership at East Side Athletic Club, a large floral arrangement from Stargazer Baskets and Blooms, a chocolate martini gift basket from Dove Chocolatiers (including four martini glasses) and a gift card to McGrath's Fish House.  Tickets are $10 a piece or three for $25 and only 200 tickets will be sold! The chamber believes that its 500 members should weigh in on who should next lead the county as Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. The race pits four interesting and politically-diverse candidates: State Rep. Dave Hunt, current commission Chair Charlotte Lehan, Commissioner Paul Savas and John Ludlow, a Realtor and former mayor of Wilsonville. Although not a formal endorsement at this time, but a statement of chamber position, the Board of Directors of the chamber believes that the electorate should advance Hunt and Savas to the general election in November.

As part of the Clackamas County Transportation System Plan (TSP) Update, the County is conducting a series of public meetings on transportation issues.  These meetings will be next week. 

In an effort to make the information in these meeting available to more people, we have set up a virtual open house on line that contains all of the information that will be presented at the open houses and a set of comment forms.   The virtual workshop is live and available for use on the project website.  This virtual open house will be on the web for 2 weeks. Please take some time to review the information on the web site and give them your comments.
