The crisis is past - what's next? How will it affect business?
It's been an interesting and sometimes confusing year for our nation's leaders, and our business community will have an opportunity to discuss issues and ask questions at a breakfast hosted by Your Chamber. He will discuss a variety of issues that affect local businesses, and take questions from the floor regarding our local concerns.

Short meetings, short message

As I said at the annual banquet, we in leadership at the Chamber are going to try to spend less time talking and more time helping members make money. That means short meetings, and in this newsletter, a short message.
Do yourself one favor this month: think of the Chamber as a health club, like your fellow members Clackamas River Racquet Club, Eastmoreland Racquet Club, and the East Side Athletic Clubs on Boardman and Sunnyside Road. You get out of your membership what you put in. If you buy from a member, they'll buy from you. Show up. Pitch in. Succeed.

What I didn't understand is that it could apply to me, not only the experience, but more importantly the knowledge I gained and the network I built. I graduated in 2007.
