Annual Ladies of the Valley Event supports backpack buddies program
An exclusive gathering celebrating Happy Valley's Women Owned Businesses will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 6 to 8pm. It will support the Happy Valley Backpack Buddies program, so you are asked to contribute a small donation or easy open treat to the cause. All donations will go directly to North Clackamas Education Fund.

"Exploring Treasures and Tales" free summer program starts on Wednesday, June 15, at the Clackamas County Historical Society (CCHS). Join them at CCHS for a free summer program when the Museum of the Oregon Territory opens every Wednesday and the first and third Saturday June 15 to Aug. 31 for presentations and hands-on activities three times a day.

Weekend Business Degree Program celebrates 10th anniversary
 The Weekend Business Degree Program (WBDP), a Portland State University program with courses offered at Clackamas Community College's (CCC) Harmony Community Campus, is celebrating its 10th anniversary on June 2. The celebration runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at CCC's Harmony campus. The WBDP was developed for working adults to earn a bachelor's degree in business by attending classes one night a week and Saturday.
