In the category of, people don't need to be told as often as they need to be reminded...here's your reminder. :-D
A few things since the last time we sent this:
1) General info - Did you know in the upper right corner of all the emails we send out is a link to ALL the past emails? You can always go back and find earlier information. If you always keep at least one email, you'll have access to all of them.
2) Patience is not only a virtue but a requirement in this Presidio card process. We appreciate the frustration. Use the Tech Support number 888-213-9555, these folks have been great in getting you through the process.
3) We know a first round of cards has been delivered, more will be released. I completed my process weeks ago and have still not received a card...patience.
4) Be aware Presidio also has a Recreational side to their competition. If you are not sure whether you will have assignments in that competition send a note and ask your assignor. ALL Presidio matches, whether the Competitive leg or Recreational leg, will require the referee to possess one of these IDs.
5) If you already possessed a Referee ID card from last year, our understanding is you will not need to do ANYTHING. The card will be sent to you automatically. If you are in this category, and have not received your card, try to log in to your account and check your status. Call tech support if you need to to make sure everything is set correctly.
6) Please do NOT send me or Leanne questions about the process, we can't help you. Heck, I am pretty good at this computer stuff and even I had to call Tech Support to get through it.
7) Lastly, do not think you will get Presidio assignments if you don't possess the ID card. You must have the card in your hot little hands before you can put in your availability for games. No kidding, no exceptions.
Presidio games start in four weeks...and,
If it takes weeks to get this done...and,
Assignors assign at least a week or two in advance...
You are now WAY late if you haven't started!

As many of you are already aware, Presidio Soccer League will require all referees who work their games to have, in their possession, at all games, a Referee Photo ID card. This is NOT your USSF ID card.
If you do not work in the Presidio Competition then there is nothing for you to do.
Examples,
- You work recreational games in a local league only, if so this policy does NOT apply to you.
- You work one or more Presidio competition games during the season, if so this policy DOES apply to you.
We have received from Presidio the Policies and Procedures you will need to follow to be in compliance with these new rules. SDSRA will abide by their new policy and we will not assign a referee to any Presidio games unless you have received this new ID card.
The leagues we service, through Presidio, have requested this and we are happy to accommodate their needs.
Below is the memo from Presidio, it is pretty self-explanatory. Should you have technical questions please contact the phone number shown below. Please do not email me or Leanne with questions about the procedure...we don't know the answer.
If you are a minor you will need your parent's permission to upload your photo and participate in this ID program.
SDSRA is not responsible for the information collected, that is done by a Cal South and Affinity Development. By participating you are agreeing to their terms and conditions.

HI ALL, JUST RECEIVED SUPPORT EMAIL FROM CALSOUTH TO GO FORWARD WITH REFEREE ONLINE REGISTRATION AND THE ID CARD. EMAIL IS COPIED BELOW.
ATTACHED ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS AND URL TO THE REGISTRATION SCREEN. THIS LINK IS DIRECTLY INTO THE CALSOUTH SYSTEM AND NOT INTO ANYTHING PRESIDIO SOCCER LEAGUE CAN VIEW OR CONTROL. WE REQUEST THAT YOU WILL DIRECT ALL OF YOUR MEMBERS TO REGISTER AS THE ID CARD IS REQUIRED TO OFFICATE ANY GAMES IN PRESIDIO SOCCER LEAGUE.
AS I SEE THE PROCESS:
1. ALL REFEREES WHO WISH TO OFFICIATE GAMES IN PRESIDIO WILL NEED TO HAVE AN ID CARD.
2. PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS, PRESIDIO REFEREE DUTIES AND GAMING RULES AND URL TO ALL REFEREES IN YOUR ORGANIZATION BY WHATEVER MEANS YOU THINK EFFICIENT AND APPROPRIATE.
3. REFEREES WILL NEED A RECENT PHOTO OF THEMSELVES TO UPLOAD TO THE SYSTEM DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
4. REFEREES WILL NEED TO KNOW WHO IS THEIR ASSIGNOR DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.
5. REFEREES WILL CREATE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD FOR MATCH/GAME REPORTING AND TO ACCESS THE SYSTEM IN THE FUTURE.
6. THE ID CARD WILL BE MAILED DIRECTLY TO THE REFEREE'S ADDRESS WITHIN A FEW WEEKS OF THEIR REGISTRATION.
7. HELP WITH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS AVAILABLE BY CALLING AFFINITY SPORTS TECHNICAL SUPPORT AT 1-888-213-9555.

PRESIDIO IS IN THE PROCESS OF VERIFYING THROUGH THE LEAGUE'S APPLICATION THE AFFILIATION BETWEEN YOUR REFEREE ASSOCIATION AND THE LEAGUES YOU PROVIDE SERVICES. SO FAR 80% HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED AND WE ARE WORKING WITH THE FEW THAT DON'T HAVE AN AFFILIATION.
