Cindy I just wanted to drop you a quick E-Mail on my evaluation of the Ontario Soccer Complex this last weekend at the Legend's Classic Tournament.
First of all, I want to thank you for providing us with your referees.
Secondly, I wanted to thank you for the professional staff that showed up. Everyone was there on time, were knowledgeable of the tournament rules, were professionally dressed and provided the best work ethic.
We did not receive any complaints on the performance of your referees, but did receive a large number of compliments. This is an overview of how terrific the referees are at North Orange County Referee Association and each and everyone of you should be proud.
I did want to point out what I considered to be one of the best referee teams I had viewed at this tournament.
I wanted to compliment the referee team of; Bob Lastra, Stacey Lastra and Lauren Lastra. Specifically, Stacey and Lauren Lastra are two of the best youth referees I have seen in the last number of years I have been on the pitch.
Their mechanics were impeccable, their speed was incredible, their positioning both on the field and touch line as an AR was great. Their knowledge of the laws was unquestioned by the coaches and spectators. Their foul recognition was very good and the decisions after fouls was quick and appropriate.
These two young ladies make and will make the youth movement in soccer a plus and I look forward to see these ladies move up as referees.
