Here are the details for the two CalSouth Beach Soccer Clinics we have coming up in San Diego. There is also information specific to the tournaments. 

Taking and passing either clinic makes you eligible to work any CalSouth Beach Soccer Tournament.

A prerequisite to taking the Beach Soccer course - you must already be a Grade 8 or higher USSF referee.

 SCRIPPS RANCH CLINIC - Saturday April 16th

If you would like to referee at the Beach Soccer Jam on 4/23-4/24, then you must take the Cal South Beach Soccer Clinic.

SDCSRA is offering this clinic on 4/16 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Marshal Middle School.

Date:  4/16 Saturday

Time:  9:00am - 2:00pm

Location:  Marshall MS

BEFORE you ask, "I took the class last year. Why do I need to take it again?"

• WHY? That class did not count as certification.
• WHY? Last year's beach soccer clinic was unsanctioned by Cal South (hence why it was free).

Before you ask: Yes, you must attend all hours of the sessions.

The $25 fee covers your registration fee and testing fee.

All fees are non-refundable for a non-passing exam. If needed, you can retake the exam until you pass at no additional charge.

NOTE:  If you attended the Cal South Beach Clinic in 3/2010 at the State Office, then you are certified.  However, you must also 'register' with the State by sending them the USSF Reg Form, Write BEACH on the top, and enclose a $25 check to Cal South.

 OCEANSIDE CLINIC - Saturday April 30th 

If you would like to referee at the Oceanside Beach Soccer Tournament on 05/14-05/15, then you must take a CalSouth Beach Soccer Clinic.   

Some specifics for the Oceanside Tournament:

• You must be 18 or over to work this tournament
• There is an additional, mandatory, training session for new beach referees on Saturday May 7th from 2:30-5:00 at Oceanside Beach Harbor.
• Referees that need/want a refresher may also attend the May 7th session.
• There will be practice games going on during this session.

The Oceanside Tournament is offering this clinic on 4/30 from 9:00am to 2:00pm at Oceanside High School.
