Well, yesterday's email regarding The Registered Officials List and Risk Management generated a huge volume of email!
Presidio Soccer League has been in contact with us regarding those officials who have been working on getting their status correctly updated. Presidio understands the frustration you have and your inability to get listed correctly. They are willing to work with us and all referees should work their games as scheduled, provided you are registered for 2010 and/or 2011 and you have been Risk Managed.
If you are not registered for 2010 and/or 2011 or you are 18 or older and have not yet been Risk Managed you should NOT take your games and you should contact your assignor immediately.
You should continue to pursue getting your status updated correctly with CalSouth. At some point in the very near future Presidio's rules will be in granite.
Here are a few other follow-up items:
1) Risk Management does not apply unless you are 18 or over.
2) The rules about being listed on the Registered Officials List and Risk Management apply whether you are the Referee or an Assistant Referee.
3) If your status is not correct, please email
Lisa Wolfs and Danielle Bryant, they are the keepers of the list at CalSouth.
4) If you have not received your current badge but ARE registered (they cashed your check) you will need to notify the US Soccer Federation; CalSouth does not issue badges for renewals. Contact me directly and I'll help you.
