Based on the questions and phone calls we have received thus far, it is apparent a number of you received a notice from Presidio at Sports Affinity regarding procedures they wish to implement.
We do not know why some of you were left off the list. We do not know what database they used to send the notice.
Please be aware:
This is a PRESIDIO GAMING CIRCUIT policy ONLY. It is their pilot program and it has been permitted by CalSouth.
- It is not a USSF requirement.
- It is not a CalSouth requirement.
- It is not an SDSRA requirement.
If you chose not to participate in providing all the required information and picture it will have NO effect on your license to referee.
You DO NOT need to do anything if you will not be officiating Presidio games; that is a significant number of you on this list.
For those of you that work recreational games, work in-house assignments or take other types of games such as indoor, high school, college, futsal, non-affiliated and so on, this policy does not apply to you.
Your USSF Referee ID card and your Risk Management clearance, if you are 18 or over, is sufficient credentialing for you to do all other youth games.
It is your decision as an individual referee as to whether you will chose to participate in what is being requested in this pilot program.
