We don't often promote specific fund-raising activities. We would like to promote this one.

This is not a request for funds, just that you send a daily email voting for the project. 

We are asking for your help in assisting the SDSU Fitness Clinic receive a grant from Pepsi to fund scholarships for low income physically disabled individuals. 

The SDSU Fitness Clinic was founded by Pete Aufsesser, one of our own, President of SD-ISOA (college) and SCSOA (high school) San Diego's Vice-President, in 1983.

All you are asked to do is follow the voting procedures below. You can vote once a day during the month of July. This voting for this project does NOT start until July 1.

Here's what you are asked to do:

PEPSI REFRESH
 
Commencing July 1st the voting for the Pepsi Refresh Competition for the month begins. The Fitness Clinic for Individuals with Disabilities is on the ballot for $ 25,000 in the Health category. Your can vote from an email once a day for the entire month July 1-31. The projects with the most votes get funded. We would appreciate you voting daily from all your email accounts.
 
The Fitness Clinic, currently in its 27th year, serves 105 individuals with severe physical disabilities through an individualized prescribed exercise program. The individuals (age 2-98) have disabilities that include; stroke, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury, spinal cord in injury, amputees, and Lou Gehrig's and Parkinson's diseases.

In addition the Fitness Clinic trains over 280 interns a year. The Fitness Clinic is and has been a self-supported program for all of its 27 years.
 
Procedure:
 
 1. Go to: www.refresheverything.com and
     register to vote.
 
 2. Starting July 1st and every day through the month
      please vote for us!

You'll need to:
 a) Click on the Health Category and then
 b) Click on the $25,000 Category.
 
The title of the program you are looking for is:
Fitness Scholarships for Low Income Physically Disabled Individuals
 
You may need to click the "Load More" button at the bottom of the list to find the program.

The funds will provide scholarships for low income clients as well as pay students to work in the program.
