Help Keep Food Waste Out of the Sewer

Fat TrapThe City of Duncanville is asking all residents to get rid of their pipe-clogging fats, oil and grease by placing used materials in fat trapper bags. Fat trapper bags are foil-lined bags that can be used to store used oil and grease. The bags can be placed in the trash so that they are properly disposed of.

Free fat trapper bags for small amounts of waste materials are available at the Duncanville Municipal Service Center, located at 330 Shady Trail Drive. Residents may pick up a maximum of 2-3 bags during regular business hours. For more information, contact Service Center Staff at (972) 780-4900.

Residents must live within Duncanville city limits to request this service.

For more information on food and e-waste disposal, visit the City of Duncanville's Storm Water Management Program Web site.
