News from the Workmen's Circle: Westchester Yiddishfest Moved Indoors

RAIN LOCATION: Yiddishfest in Wedeschester (This Sunday)
Pharaoh's Daughter's,  Mike Burstyn Magda Fishman and Avram Pengas will be rocking out this Sunday in Westchester, New York.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Yiddishfest concert in Westchester this Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 6:00 pm has been moved to Temple Israel of New Rochelle (1000 Pinebrook Blvd, New Rochelle, NY)

Directions to Temple Israel of New Rochelle

From Manhattan
Henry Hudson Parkway across Henry Hudson Bridge (toll) to Cross County Parkway to Hutchinson River Parkway northbound toward Connecticut. Hutchinson River Parkway to exit 17 (North Ave.). Right to second traffic light (Quaker Ridge Road). Left about 1.3 miles to Pinebrook Blvd. North. Left across road to Pinebrook Blvd. Right approx. 0.8 mile to TEMPLE ISRAEL sign on left.

From Long Island
Whitestone Bridge, keep left for Hutchinson River Parkway northbound and proceed as above.

Throgs Neck Bridge to New England Thruway to exit 9, Hutchinson River Parkway northbound and proceed as above.

From George Washington Bridge
George Washington bridge (try to use lower level) keep right and follow signs to Major Deegan Parkway (I-87) Northbound (becomes the Thomas E. Dewey Thruway). Off at Exit 4, move right for entrance to Cross County Parkway eastbound.
Continue on Cross County Parkway to Hutchinson River Parkway northbound toward Connecticut and proceed as above.

From New England
Merrit Parkway to Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit 20 (Weaver Stree t- Scarsdale). Right onto Weaver Street to first traffic ight (Stratton Road). Left one block to traffic light. Left onto Pinebrook Blvd.; then one long block to TEMPLE ISRAEL sign on right.

From Tappan Zee Bridge
Interstate 287 to exit 9, Hutchinson River Parkway South and proceed as from New England.
