What is the Buddy Wall?
An area where you and your family can brag a little (or a lot) by creating a poster that tells a story about YOU!Things that can be included on your poster include: family photos, pictures with friends and family, awards, achievements, etc...
Where is the Buddy Wall?
The posters will be on display at the Shops at Boardman Park the day of the Buddy Walk and then will be in the windows of the DSAV Center for Success through National Down Syndrome Awareness month in October.
How do I participate?
Create your Poster on white, blue or yellow poster board no larger than 24" x 36"and bring it to the DSAV office during t-shirt pick-up week August 9th-12th.
What if I have questions?

Dear Members & Friends,
As you can imagine, it's been extremely busy at the DSAV Center for Success as we prepare for Buddy Walk of the Valley 2010.
How exciting it has been to watch the thermometer grow and Teams be added. As I write this, we have 43 Teams signed up and almost 1,200 walkers registered!
Details on Buddy Walk t-shirt pick up days are below, along with a schedule of the days events! We are so excited to have so much great entertainment at this year's walk. Great food, terrific entertainment, fun activities...what more could you want for a family summer event?
Thank you to all the volunteers who came out for the Basket wrapping and Goodie Bag stuffing days. The place was hoppin', but we sure accomplished alot.
We are also grateful to Girl Scout Cadet Troop 889 from Warren for choosing the DSAV as their Silver Award Project. The thumbprint cards are beautiful and we look forward to creating & selling more.
Once the Buddy Walk of the Valley is over, DSAV keeps moving. Look for us in the Medical & Health building at the Canfield Fair. Our Border's Benefits day will take place in September, be sure to shop and use the certificate in your Buddy Walk goodie bag. Our Orlando Getaway raffle will continue with the winner being drawn at our annual Costume Party at Creekside Gardens in October.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the DSAV Buddy Walk of the Valley in just two weeks. Be sure to come up and say hello!
