The mission of the Joshua O'Neill and Zeshan Tabani Enrichment Fund is to offer financial assistance to young adults with Down syndrome who wish to continue to enrich their lives by enrolling in postsecondary programs or taking enrichment classes that will help them to enrich life through employment, independent living skills, life skills or another way.

Warm weather has finally arrived, I hope you are enjoying it!
 
With warmer temperatures, thoughts turn to Summer and our biggest event of the year ~ Buddy Walk®  of the Valley!  Be sure to set up your Buddy Walk TEAM page and start asking family and friends to join us on August 14th!  Last year's TEAM captains will be receiving information in the mail shortly.
 
DSAV Family Night at Austintown Bounce is next Thursday.  You still have time to sign up.  Please RSVP, so we know how much pizza to order.
 
Our eReadingPro seminar is coming up May 6th and 7th.  This is a great opportunity for parents and educators to gain insightful tools to help visual learners read.
 
Some great opportunities for our children are being offered over the next few months.  Challenger Baseball sign-ups are going on, the Lose The Training Wheels bike camp is coming to Pittsburgh and Special Olympics events are being held in various locations across the Valley.   Be sure to look into these great programs.

The Buddy Walk of the Valley 2010 is going strong!  We are already at 6% of our goal!  We are very excited to be implementing on line registration for 2010.  Every registration and donation will be put on the Buddy Walk of the Valley site which will enable everyone to track participation and funds raised!
 
All TEAMS will be on the website.  Be sure to direct friends and family to the site so they can register to walk or donate to your TEAM.  

Paper registration forms received will be added to the Buddy Walk of the Valley website by our volunteer staff.

Many Special Olympic events are being held across the state in various locations to qualify for the State Summer Games in June.
 
The 2010 State Summer Games will take place on the campus of The Ohio State University, Sawmill Lanes and United Skates of America.  Nearly 2,700 athletes from all corners of the state will compete in 11 sports. 
 
 
Track and Swimming events are still scheduled for our area.  Click on the links to see schedules. 
Volunteers are needed and welcomed for this events.
