Buddy Walk of the Valley 2009 |

It's Buddy Walk time once again!
Be sure and make plans to join your friends at the 2nd annual Buddy Walk of the Valley.
DATE: August 15
TIME: 9am-1pm
LOCATION: Shops at Boardman Park
Last year we had over 2,000 people attend and raised over $60,000 for resources and programs to support those with Down syndrome in the Mahoning, Shenango and Ohio Valleys!
You won't want to miss Chris Burke, The South Range High School Marching Band, Area Mascots, Cheerleaders. BUDDY TOWN plus food, fun and activities.

Family Grants Availble for DSAV members!
Grants are available for the second half of 2009 for DSAV members.
Through the CVS Caremarx community grant program and DSAV funds, families are invited to apply for up to five hundred ($500) per family per year for inclusive programs or activities such as such as Boy/Girl Scouts, Gymboree, ballet, swimming, dance, therapy sessions etc. These activities must be open to all children with and without disabilities.
