Sprint Adds Lockport Outlet

Sprint, a national telecommunications leader, has opened its third retail outlet in Western New York in the Home Depot Plaza on South Transit Road in Lockport. Sprint will offer a full range of telecommunications devices at its store at 5758 South Transit Road, next to GNC in the Panera Bread wing of the Home Depot Plaza.

Surgery Center Under Construction Eastern Niagara Hospital Logo

Eastern Niagara Health (ENH) Systems has begun conversion of its former Ambulatory Care Center at 5875 South Transit Road to accommodate its new $5.6 million Ambulatory Surgery Center. ENH Systems purchased the building in 2011. The Ambulatory Surgery Center represents another significant investment in health care facilities in the Transit Road Corridor; located immediately adjacent are the South Lockport Medical Campus and the Snyder Drive Professional Office Park.

Opening Up Soon in Lockport

Burrito Bay

Burrito Bay, the popular Erie County Mexican food restaurant at 2341 Millersport Highway in Getzville, will open a Lockport eatery at 5774 South Transit Road. The Lockport restaurant becomes the second store for Burrito Bay. A mid-September opening is expected.

Heinrich Chevrolet

Upgrades Dealership

Heinrich

Heinrich Chevrolet, a mainstay on the Transit Road Corridor at 5775 South Transit Road, has begun renovations to its façade and showroom. The $350,000 project is expected to be completed by October.

Applebee's Update

Applebee's Restaurant, located at 5822 South Transit Road, has upgraded its exterior with $63,500 in new window treatments and awnings.

Sally Beauty Supply, which has operated a cosmetics outlet in the Tops Plaza, is relocating to the Home Depot Plaza at 5750 South Transit Road. It will be located between Nails Style and Regis Hair Salon.
