Introl Design Begins Construction
Construction has begun on the future home of Introl Design in the Lockport Industrial Park. Introl Design, who is a manufacturer of motion control devices, is constructing a 12,000 square foot facility. The new building will be at the north end of the IDA Park Drive by the Upper Mountain entrance to the industrial park. Having been in business for over 40 years, Introl Design had outgrown its facility at 48 North Street in Lockport. In addition to relocating its current 15 person workforce, Introl will have the capacity to add another 6 jobs at the conclusion of the project. |

Grand Opening

Lockport Town Supervisor Marc Smith (far right) joins Mike Basil (second from the right), Faith Basil (third from right) and other Toyota officials at the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new Basil Toyota. Basil Toyota has completed and opened its new 16,000 SF state-of-the-art auto sales showroom and service center at 6157 South Transit Road. The 3.4 million dollar project included extensive demolition and brownfield remediation of the former Gambino Ford showroom. The new building replaces Basil's previous sales facility at 6179 South Transit Road, which will be repurposed for used car sales and service by Basil. The project will create 10 new jobs with the assistance of the Town of Lockport Industrial Development Agency. |
