Tim Hortons will open its third location in Lockport with a 1,860 SF facility to be constructed near the intersection of Dysinger Road (NY 93) and Beattie Avenue. The eatery received final approval from the Lockport Planning Board January 16 and will commence construction in April, 2011 with a projected opening in August, 2011. The Dysinger Road site is approximately 1 mile east of Transit Road (NY 78) and is located opposite a Kenyon's Variety and near the Lockport Municipal Center and Town Square Plaza. In addition to the Dysinger Road location, Tim Hortons has outlets located at 5816 South Transit Road and 4 South Transit Street. |

Key Bank to
Upgrade Lockport Branch
Key Bank's Lockport branch, located at 5688 South Transit Road, will undergo a façade and interior renovation. The exterior of the one-story bank facility will be enhanced with stone and awnings, consistent with the Transit North design guidelines; interior renovations will include upgraded teller stations and office space. Key Bank is located on the west side of Transit Road, next to the South Transit Road Plaza and Home Depot Plaza, and is opposite the future location of the Walmart Supercenter. |
