In February I participated in the
Naramata Art Conference, an art project with the Naramata Elementary School. Students had a chance to try out all kinds of different art forms, including Encaustic. With the much-appreciated help of Jane and Judy it was great fun.
Mid April saw me at the
Tumbleweed Retreat in Cache Creek, giving several workshops and an evening demo. It was a wonderful experience, with many talented people. (at right: detail of Jenny's painting)
And I just got back from a weekend in
Port Moody, where I taught 5 back-to-back courses at the Scrapbook store
Cherish the Thought.
Other trips this summer will include Vernon, Whitehorse, Williams Lake and perhaps Creston.
If you're interested in any of those check out the
course schedule on my website
