Wow!  We've almost made it halfway through 2012!  Amazing, isn't it?  With summer now officially upon us, many of us look forward to (slightly) more relaxed days, perhaps time for reflection, and definitely time for some fun!
 
Now your company picnic may or may not fall into the category of "fun", but it really can be a great time to interact with your colleagues, management - your "work" family - as well as your spouse, significant other and children - your "home" family.  So consider some of the tips provided below to help ensure you all enjoy a fun, family event.

Company Picnics - Family Fun!

  

June 20th is the first day of summer, the heat wave is on, and you know that your company picnic is right around the corner!  These types of events provide a great opportunity for some family fun - with your "home" family and your "work" family. Often times, however, people will be a bit tentative about how to behave at a company picnic - it's not quite like a company holiday party or a meeting in the conference room. So keep the following tips in mind as you pack up your suntan lotion - - and head to your company's summer picnic!

 

Tip #1:  Introduce yourself.  This isn't the time to lay out your towel, fall asleep in the sun, get terribly burned, and ignore everyone!
